Scientists predict that El-nino this year may cause severe droughts ,floods across south America and asia. It is very dangerous for coral reefs.

   In 1997-98 around 16% of worlds coral reefs were lost due to EL-NINO EFFECT .Maldives alone lost 90% of the reef coverage .sccientists predict that coral triangle in south east bio region may get affected more . more than 85% of the coral reefs in bio region are threatened by over fishing,destructive fishing, pollution which is higher than global average of 60% .

The only solution for this problem in long term is to reduce the carbon emissions

Neo-natal deaths .of the three million neonatal deaths in the worlds , 779000 deaths occured in India  in 2012. Nigeria is the second largest after in India in Neo-natal deaths .The first   24 hours after birth determine the most critical period for the survival of Neo nate. Of the one million neo natal deaths every day one third are in India .large number of preterm births is the reason for around 50% of neonatal mortality

Poverty, adolescent pregnancy, lack of medical care are some reasons for the preterm births .lack of well trained health care workers and proper health care centers  are acting as barrier for improving new born survival.

google entry into internet delivery

Internet giant Google is planning to provide high speed internet through new technologies like fiber to home and through satellites and is becoming competition to existing internet service providers .Google is currently providing fastest internet services through fiber to home technology across 12 cities in united states. Google is planning to spend $1billion to launch a fleet of 180 satellites.

O3b-other three billion has 4 satellites in orbit and plans to launch few more –it is currently providing internet to mobile carrier base station. Satellite internet is traditionally provided by geo-stationary satellites which orbit at 35000kms above the earth surface with a delay of 600 millisecond which is very high. While o3b’s satellite orbit at relatively low latitude of about 85kms with 150 millisecond delay.

These satellites can even work when they are in motion relative to earth surface which is possible by beam-forming technology.
