1.       By mistake if you had closed a tab with valuable info and want to retain the closed one you can go to history and choose recently closed tabs option because the closed tabs will move to that menu only.

2.       If you don’t want anyone to see your private tab then there is a special adon i.eclose n forget.you need to install it in the browser and restart the browser.

3.       If you don’t want to open any harmful website then there is WOT service.As soon as you install it,it appears in address bar with a special symbol.you can set your security by different sections like basic,light,parentalcontrols etc.

4.       If you want to manage others not to see the history,cookies etc.then there is a service by name “better privacy”.as soon as you install this moves into tools menu .By using LSO manager ,options available there on you can set it as you like.

New in chrome:

1.       If you want to know the security for the passwords you had for your mail and banking services there is no need for external softwares you can easily get it from browser itself.For that you need to install “password secure tester”.you need to install this and it appears at the end of addressbar and it also tells you about the time that will be taken to trace the password.

2.       If you want to hide all the tabs at once then you need to get panic button.If you click on the icon available at end of address bar all the tabs will be hidden.

How Shark Skin increases Fuel Efficiency??

It is quiet fascinating to design an aerodynamic, high energy efficient and more fuel efficient aircrafts which holds the key for saving energy and it has been time to involve the oceans oldest predator ‘shark’ in the design of these aircrafts.

     Germany’s biggest airlines Lufthansa took an initiative for trails of shark skin paints on their airbuses. Some rough estimations for engineers said that if an aircraft was covered by 40-70% of shark skin paint, it could reduce the fuel consumption by 1%.

     The sharks skin is covered in tiny riblets that reduce turbulent vortices and drag they cause and thereby reducing the surface resistance when moving at high speeds. This phenomenon of stream line shark skin had been known for about 30 years and it is found in various applications in diverse fields like aeronautics, military aircraft designs and development of high swimsuits.

NEW TECHNIQUE TO GENERATE ELECTRICITY FROM BACTERIA

Bacteria is very useful in generating electricity by using devices known as microbial fuel cells(mfc).The device has an anode and cathode which are connected and during the breathing process of bacteria they release electrons as a part of metabolism  on to the anode. These electrons when directed towards a closed path constitute an electric current.

     These MFC’s has to be filled with mud,sewage,waste and we should wait for the growth of bacteria. These bacteria will not use any intermediate in transferring the electrons to the anode. In turn they touch the anode .For this they are having filaments which directly transfer electrons .such filaments are called nanowires.When billions of bacteria combine they form conductive biofilms which transfer the electrons. These MFC’s find good scope in bioremediation where microorganisms are used to remove pollutants. Tattooing a keyword often heard in the youth of present generation. Many may feel that the presence of tattoos will add beauty and they are least aware of the risk of cancer .Inks used usually contain cobalt,aluminium,Mercurial sulphide,cadmium etc  and many are not aware of the blood borne diseases like HIV ,hepatitis B if the equipment used for tattooing is contaminated with the infected blood.
